The website is real, it goes to a domain that he has hosted on Yahoo's Geocities.. and there is something running on port 23 at that dynamic DNS domain.
I'm not sure what he's trying to accomplish, but I nearly feel down laughing.. naiveness at its best. |

Looking on MARC for that e-mail address, I found the same form letter broadcast to openbsd-sparc, fink-users, php-soap, netbsd-tech-kern, and turbine-maven-user. The only response was on fink-users: the first reply chastised the OP for posting spam about unix training on a Mac OS list, the second was an apology from the moderator for letting it slip by.
