Default softdep in fstab question
Do I need to use softdep with all my filesystems, as in
/dev/sd0j /usr/src ffs rw,nodev,nosuid,softdep 1 2

An advantage of a file system with soft updates is that it can be mounted immediately after a crash, since there is no log replay.
