Quagga openbsd 4.3
Hello
I have problem with running zebra installed from package. I also try from source with any results. HTML Code:
# /usr/local/sbin/zebra Abort trap zebra: stack overflow in function rtm_read Someone has the same problem ? Is there any patch for this ? Thanks! |

It appears to be a known problem with 4.3: see http://marc.info/?l=openbsd-ports&m=121062098327050&w=2
Quagga has a fix in place for -current; looking through the ports@ mailing list it apears that it was tested with 4.3. The cvs log states: Quote:

Hi!
I patched my quagga port, and everything seems to be fine. I am running zebra and ripd for exchange routes between the routers. After launch on my machine ripd and zebra i am getting routes from other machines but i still cannot ping device behind other routers? Should I make alias on interface for all subnets from whole network ? Why i still dont have acces to other subnets behind other routers ? /var/log/quagga/ripd.log rip_read: cannot find interface for packet from x.x.x.x Thanks all! |

I would like to know, does anybody use quagga on openbsd 4.3 without problems ?
Thanks |

You may not find any here, as this is a small OpenBSD community. You will be much better off asking for quagga users on the ports@ mailing list.
Note that the OpenBGP project is a component of the OpenBSD Project, and users of quagga and zebra who use BGP or OSPF have been migrating to it. Website: http://www.openbgpd.org/ Disclaimer: I don't use any of this stuff, as I don't run either protocol. |
