Default PDF versions of the FAQ?

Am I missing something? The FAQ states that there are pdf versions on the ftp site, however, the most recent pdf's are for 4.5.

Do you have any links to the 4.6 pdf FAQ and PF documentation?

I split your message from its original thread as these questions no longer pertain to prompts or colors.

This situation repeatedly happens as can be seen in the following thread from the misc@ mailing list:

The best thing to do is simply save the HTML files locally so you can view them at any time with or without Internet connection. I will mention missing PDF files to the technical writers, but they are most likely focused on 4.7 issues.

The OpenBSD project is very small in comparison to other efforts. Warts are to be expected.

It would also be of benefit if you would state which mirror was being used.

The PDF and .txt formated documents are only for convenience, they aren't always up to date.

You can try emailing Nick Holland about it.. but it would be easier for you to just check out the HTML FAQ from CVS if you need an offline copy, you can then open it from inside any browser (..lynx/firefox/etc).

$ cvs -d $CVSROOT co -P www/faq

You can find the list of CVS mirrors here.

Oops, my bad; in my rush to help, I posted a link to the 4.5 version of the FAQ.

PDF versions of the FAQ are available on the ftp site: ftp://ftp.openbsd.org/pub/OpenBSD/doc/obsd-faq.pdf
