Default Installing AMD Automounter

Hi all,
I'm trying to install the Berkeley Automounter suite (amd-utils), but when I ./configure it gives me this:

checking for struct nfs_args...
/: write failed, file system is full
sed: stdout: No space left on device
notfound
checking for struct nfs_gfs_mount... sed: stdout: No space left on device
no
configure: error: Cannot find any definition for struct nfs_args!
This can be due to several reasons: a misconfigured system, a system that is
missing some vital NFS-related headers or libraries, one for which am-utils
was not ported to yet, or even a bug in the am-utils sources. Check the
BUGS file in this distribution and see if there is any mention relevant to
your system. If that does not help, check the config.log and config.cache
files in this build for details and report them to
https://bugzilla.am-utils.org/ or am-utils@am-utils.org please.

Various comments/questions:
  • Is there a reason why you are not using amd(8) already available in the base system?
  • Provide the output of the following commmand:

    $ df -h
  • Lastly, I am not familiar with this application, but the code may not written in a POSIX fashion, or perhaps Linux-isms have crept in. The OpenBSD filesystem layout is different from that of Linux, & this might account for what you describe. For more details, study the hier(7) manpage.
  • OpenBSD has its own repository of third-party applications available for installation. Information can be found in Section 15 of the official FAQ. Unless you are very experiencee in porting software to different platforms, the project strongly urges users to use the pre-compiled packages made available by the project.
