Default what catching tool to preferably use in openbsd ?

Hi Daemondom mates !

A BSD hacker adviced me to do without tor for anonymy .. so I am starting this thread hopefull to get advice and help on the topic ..
if squid is the best available alternative I hope someone will pave the way to a total newbie to use it on OpenBSD/NetBSD .. otherwise I'd welcome any other equally important anonymizing tool ..

thank you so much !
