After an update stable doesn't boot
Hi
I just did a system update and after I've rebooted it doesn't boot up any more. All I'm getting is a blank screen with a cursor blinking at the top left corner of the screen after the POST has finished. This system was running 7.0-STABLE build in June if I can remember correctly. I can boot the system with a life cd and get into fixit, but I have no idea what to do next.  Any ideas as to how I can get it back up? Thanks hamba
