Default [VM,6.8] No login

Hi, all.

I've a weird problem with vm on OpenBSD6.8.

I created 2 VMs on Linux with qemu - they run correctly.

But, after copied on OpenBSD host, thoses runs but hang on after Time displayed. And, I cant obtain session.

---

First, my vm.conf:
Code:
switch "sw" {
interface bridge0
}

vm "vm-dns" {
disk /home/me/VM/vm-dns.qcow2 format qcow2
disable
interface { switch "sw" }
memory 1G
owner me
}
I start without no problem, but:
Code:
$ vmctl start -c vm-dns
Using drive 0, partition 3.

after that, I dont have the login screen!

I copied my VMs by rsync+ssh, or ssh only.
To be sure, I created sha256 files.

On my Linux station:
Code:
$ cat vm-dns.qcow2.sha256
73054a89bb2e0b13d78e8cb446424baa01f7761099d8681a59137655b28c979c  vm-dns.qcow2
After copied, on OpenBSD:
Code:
$ sha256 vm-dns.qcow2
SHA256 (vm-dns.qcow2) = 73054a89bb2e0b13d78e8cb446424baa01f7761099d8681a59137655b28c979c

$ sha256 -C vm-dns.qcow2.sha256 vm-dns.qcow2
(SHA256) vm-dns.qcow2: OK

The vmm(4) hypervisor does not have any video support for guests. Only a serial console is supported. For an OpenBSD/amd64 or OpenBSD/i386 guest:
  • The serial console must be provisioned in boot.conf(5). This is done automatically during install if the install is run from a serial console.
  • To use the serial console as a login device, the serial console (tty00) must be provisioned for this in /etc/ttys. This is done automatically during install if the install is run from a serial console.
You may choose to:
  1. Manually provision these changes in your existing guests to support a serial console.
  2. Reinstall under Qemu using a serial console (-nographic).
  3. Reinstall under the vmm(4) hypervisor.
Additional guidance may be obtained from the Virtualization chapter of the OpenBSD FAQ.

Hi. jggimi

How can I change guests to add the serial console?

I create the /etc/boot.conf, with this content:
Code:
stty com0 115200
set tty com0
but, after rebooting, I cant anyway connect on the session?

Code:
tty00   "/usr/libexec/getty std.115200" vt220    on secure
See the ttys(5) man page for more information.

In fact, it seems explained on FAQ Keyboard and Display Controls:
