Enable Youtube Video in HTML5
For BSD users who enjoy an occasional diversion at Youtube you can now watch "most" videos.
YouTube with HTML5 enabled browsers You have to opt in and on OpenBSD 5.0/Firefox 5 with a low end video card the playback for video was choppy. although no worse than flashplayer with the same hardware. "Hymn of ordinary motion" by Jerry Douglas, which is mostly audio, played. I would be interested in hearing if others with ati video cards have better video playback. It may be what I need to migrate from Debian 6.0.3 to OpenBSD on my main system. Last edited by shep; 13th December 2011 at 04:08 AM. Reason: clarify browser as Firefox 5.0 and spelling |
