Default Disable usb during booting

I am booting OpenBSD on an SBC and it freezes on loading the usb modules. If I disable usb in the BIOS, the SCB will boot with no problems. I am looking for a way to disable loading usb from inside the operating system. I mdofied the configuration in /bsd but it is still loading the usb.

How can I disable loading usb while booting OpenBSD without the need to disable it in the BIOS.

Hello, and welcome!

OpenBSD's kernel is monolithic, but we can disable drivers or set driver flags during boot with the "-c" boot flag, which will deploy the User Kernel Configuration (UKC) tool before the kernel begins its hardware probes. It is effectively the same tool available through config(8) after boot has completed.

The FAQ discusses this. The closest link is here. Look directly below for the two sections "Boot Time Configuration" and "Using config(8) to change your kernel."
