Default Netmap in FreeBSD

Saw this on a couple of FreeBSD mailing lists and thought it sounded interesting. Some of the methods used seem similar to the upcoming npf firewall in NetBSD 6.0 where network packets are abstracted as chained buffers http://netbsd.gw.com/cgi-bin/man-cgi...NetBSD-current.
