Default Death by 3D printer

A San Francisco couple and their two cats died from poisoning after a laser 3D printer ventilated carbon monoxide into their home...

It seems then, if you get a 3D printer, the first thing one should do is use it to fabricate a copy of oneself. That way, if a disaster like this happens, you have a good backup.

Does the manual for the 3D printer mentioned risk associated with using 3D printer in poorly ventilated room?
