Default can't select files using GTK file picker

I'm a firefox user. When i try to send file on Discord, Reddit or just open an image, GTK file picker launches, but I can pick only files that are in the Recent tab, files and directories from any other locations won't show up. There are some screenshots.

Remember that package readme file I pointed you to for HTML 5? Please return to the same file. The opening section is on pledge(2) and unveil(2), and it will answer this question.

The TL;DR is that Firefox is intentionally prevented from having any access to most of your filesystem.

The "WTF?" is simple: browsers are inherently insecure; they run programs obtained from the dangerous internet without your knowledge or permission. But they're needed. This is a compromise permitting some limited access to files in known locations.

Yes, you can change this behavior, as outlined in the package readme file.
