OpenBSD and boot manager?
I have OpenBSD 4.6 and Windows. But when installing OpenBSD a active OpenBSD partition and now Windows can't use. Is there a way to edit OpenBSD boot loader and add Windows without installing another boot loader?

You can use the OpenBSD fdisk to make the Windows partition active. Then you reboot.
Or read http://www.daemonforums.org/showthread.php?t=2879 to use the Vista boot manager.

Section 4.9 of the FAQ discusses how to use the various Microsoft boot managers (prior to Vista, one was used; with Vista & Win7, another is used...). If you are using Vista or Win7, I have more dialogue written up in the following thread: http://www.daemonforums.org/showthread.php?t=2879 If you don't want to use Microsoft's boot manager, GAG is popular in the *BSD community: http://gag.sourceforge.net/ |
