Default Whats the name of that game?

I remember back when I was a kid, there was an arcade game.
I believe it was a side scrolling game in which 2 barbarians with swords went around chopping things up.
The first boss was a weird looking creature, i think it had 2 swords, and the one thing I remember is that he had some kind of head tentacle that pretty much kills ya if it touches you.

the boss was incredibly hard and no one ever seemed to beat it. If you did you ended up in the 2nd level, out of money and quickly dead.

Does anyone ever remember this game, and its title? Ive always wonder what it was.
It wasn't golden axe, or gauntlet.

Wow, that brings back memories of losing a lot of quarters in a very short period of time. Never played II, but lost a lot of money trying to play the original in the arcade.
