Default xxxterm 1.11 in current w/ new bug

A heads up. The latest i386 package snapshot upgrades to xxxterm that has a new bug.

On first start:
Quote:
xxxterm requires at least 1024 (2048 recommended) file descriptors, currently it has up to 1024 available
.

I have tried setting different ulimit -n values and fiddling with kern.maxfiles=2048 in /etc/sysctl.conf. Not sure where to go from here.

Probably you have to set openfiles in /etc/login.conf.

@J65nko Thanks for the suggestion, the warning though persists. To see if I was on the right tract I increased the openfiles for all login classes. I have since restored /etc/login.conf to the original settings

Welcome to xxxterm 1.11.3!

Beware that this is the final version that will use the xxxterm name.
Moving forward the browser will be called xombrero.

Details will soon appear on the xombrero wiki page

Now I am not sure the bug is with xxxterm. The code for the start page was committed several versions ago. I'm wondering if it may be how openbsd is presenting the file descriptors? You can ignore the warning and manually open your home page and it functions as it did prior to the upgrade.
