Cannot start X from a non-root account
Hi everyone,
I got this error when trying to start x from a non-root account. Can anyone help me solve this issue? Quote:

How have you installed? I had something similar it was due to untarballing without all these flags to preserve permissions, including setuid.
The other thing might be that you are without your $HOME directory. It seems that you are logged into /. |

I have just made a home directory for the non-root user, and I can start the X now. Thank you all.
