Exclamation NetBSD/macppc Apple Usb Keyboard has no input.

I managed to install NetBSD 6.1.5 on my G4 mac mini but the keyboard doesn't work. I have to ssh in to use the machine. Things to note are that it worked in the INSTALL CD, wscons=YES in my rc.conf, and the the kernel appears to detect it as shown by the output of dmesg below:

EDIT: I should add in the log it is listed as "uhub4 at uhub3 port 1: Apple, Inc. Keyboard Hub, class 9/0, rev 2.00/96.15, addr 2" but doesn't appear to be shown as a keyboard.

Seems to be a problem with the device/keyboard according to this part.

Thanks, that bug is nearly identical my problem. Would the patch be safely applicable in the macppc sources?

So I applied the patch blindly and it just worked. That was very satisfying, as I am used to linux, where code is generally not portable so amd64 code couldn't be expected to run on powerpc without modifications.
Thank you darktrym for solving this issue.
