My vote can be switched. My primary OS is now NetBSD (for the past 4-6 months or so)!

DONE: Linux--; NetBSD++;

Windows Vista 64 and Linux x64 (currently Debian).

As much as I like (or used to like) FreeBSD I haven't been using it regularly for almost a year now.

PCBSD = FreeBSD + PBI packages + KDE4 + KDE/QT utilities + graphical installer ... generally.

Linux is not UNIX! Face it! It is not an insult. It is fact: GNU is a recursive acronym for “GNU's Not UNIX”.

PC-BSD isn't on the list, and.. vermaden clearly just told you PC-BSD = FreeBSD.

Arch Linux for my amd64 work station. It is amazingly stable for a rolling release. Mozilla Firefox security updates usually show up within several days of their release. Frequent updates could be a potential problem but in practice problems are rare and minor. Overall maybe 3-4 problems with updates per year and maybe only one per year that needs more than another update to fix. It is also great to see what is happening with Open Source development. For those that need greater stability, an LTS kernel is available

I have some older Via C3 CPU based systems and use Slackware (i486) and keep at least one OpenBSD system to have something different and to backup the Arch system.

OpenBSD on everything except for 1 machine that runs XP for the one game I play because I don't want to have to fix everything AGAIN every time a patch comes out.

FreeBSD on the Sunblade 1000 that is working. The other needs a switch.
The rest....
Working on the G4 to multiboot BSDs.
Trying NetBSD on the G3.
For the others, I've ran my chops enough for people to know.

I am running OpenBSD 4.8 on both of my laptops for everyday use
Thinkpad T23 P3 1.13GhZ, 1GB RAM, 30GB HD
Thinkapd A22p P3 900MhZ, 512MB RAM, 40GB HD.

I used to bounced between Linux distros mainly Ubuntu,OpenSuSe,Gentoo,Slackware and FreeBSD and PC-BSD before I tried OpenBSD and I never looked back.
Most linux distros getting too bloated and not to mention the constant
security updates, there still some good ones (Gentoo, Arch,Slackware...)

I like the simplicity, security, speed and the fact the BSD likes are developed and built as a whole OS (centralized). Everything else is add on,not like linux where everything is blended together.

Far as gaming and Flash...I can live without it. (there is always trade off)

Windows is not even an option for me, I guess I am allergic to it

OpenBSD 4.8 on my laptop and netbook. FreeBSD8.1 on one desk@home, NetBSD5.1 on another desk@home. OpenBSD on another SPARC rig that I got for free. Sorcerer (Linux)/FreeBSD dual boot on my primary office desk. My own version of a minimal OpenSolaris based distro on my second office desk.
