Smile [apm] 0% remaining unknown life estimate

hi
this is first my post in daemonforums.

i use a notebook and `apm` command not show Battery state.

output of command:
Code:
Battery state: CRITICAL, 0% remaining, unknown life estimate.
A/C adapter state: not connected
Performance adjustment mode: manual (1333 MHz)
how i can fix this problem in my notebook?
