First post: Not sure which section fits my question!
Hello BSD people,
I see you have 3 main sections of the 3 main BSD variants. So far so cool. However, if I were to ask a question like 'Which BSD for my project or purpose?' should it go to 'Other BSD and UNIX/UNIX-like,' or 'General software and network.' Honestly, I have no idea. As if I were to choose from the three main flavors, it certainly isn't other, but maybe more closely related to BSD than general. So I see no clear cut category for this, seemingly basic and simple question of common interest! Suggestion: You may want to have a category like 'Which BSD?' or 'BSD in general,' something like that, thanks! Last edited by Insider; 2nd May 2016 at 08:31 AM. |

Yep. The 'General software and network' seems more reasonable to me than 'Other BSD and UNIX/UNIX-like' by the simple fact that it is more popular by the number of readers/contributors. Thanks. At least, hopefully it's not off topic!
