Default Can someone help me with Alpine?

Is there a way of configuring Alpine to send my username and password to my ISP smtp server?

# List of SMTP servers for sending mail. If blank: Unix Pine uses sendmai$
smtp-server=smtpauth.earthlink.net:587

Every time i send a message I have to provide my username and pass over and over.

You will also have to enter

user-domain=earthlink.net

This link discusses your password although I have not tried this

Have you figured out how to retrieve email from earthlink? I am just tackling outgoing mail.

Just got retrieving emails to work

inbox-path={mail.earthlink.net/pop3/user=you@earthlink.net}INBOX
I have a really old earthlink account and I have seen earthlink instructions that say to use
'pop.earthlink.net' instead of 'mail.earthlink.net' in the above inbox-path
