Default How to set reverse DNS to my domain?

I set up my domain to point to my IP, and also set my computer's hostname to my domain name, but my IP still resolves to my default ISP hostname. Do I have to change some settings in my router in order for the reverse DNS lookup to be my domain name instead of the regular ISP hostname or something? I called my ISP and they said it's not their problem.

The reverse record for your ISP assigned address cannot be changed by you, only them, and they typically won't do that unless you're on a business tier.
