Fore Instance, read a good book, and understand the context. NetBSD like OpenBSD is very technical OS; that require knowledge to simply run. My friend who studied in Warsaw Polytechnic statistics, for five years use on his laptop only NetBSD. He has no problem with it. Why? He read and learn. |

So free and open as the scandal of the vaunted security of OpenBSD?

This is not a standard OS for home. Neither better nor worse. The best tool is just right for the job. Last edited by divel; 28th November 2013 at 08:21 PM. Reason: Adding a note |

I have not read much about the case of OpenBSD, I admit. I'm not repeating anything, just do not idealize the free, open-source and NetBSD, as if everything else is shit, without falling into his mistake. Anyway everything else is feeding the troll and this conversation is off topic. They are the same stupid conversations in which falls in the Linux community and I was wrong to promote it. I simply refer to information provided by Julio Merino, a member of NetBSD, and discussions on the mailing list, draw your own conclusions... |
