Default FreeBSD 8 and marvell yukon 88e8057

Hello. I want to install FreeBSD 8 from internet but I can't because FBSD doesn't see my eth0 card. My PC is Sony Vaio VGN-NW21MF. Is there any solution for this problem?
Best regards
Artur

BSD's do not use generic network interface names, supported chipsets will use their own respective drivers.

Supported Marvell Ethernet devices use the msk(4) driver for example.

The model 88E8057 is not mentioned, but it may be supported.

Considering posting the output of dmesg(8) and/or ifconfig(8) if you need further help.

One simple way to configure your ethernet device is to use the sysinstall tool.

Sysinstall > Configure > Networking > Interfaces.

It should show up as msk0 as BSDfan said

Don't even need the CD/DVD if you use sysinstall, or add ifconfig_msk0="DHCP" to /etc/rc.conf
