can't install kdebase3...

It looks like you are using FreeBSD 9 CURRENT, this is an experimental development version of FreeBSD under heavy active development.
Packages may not always be available, and packages that are available are not guaranteed to work. You can get a list of available packages for each FreeBSD version at http://pointyhat.freebsd.org/ You can try using ports, which also aren't guaranteed to work on CURRENT. FreeBSD-9-CURRENT is intended for FreeBSD developers and advanced users, you may want to consider using FreeBSD 8.1 instead. This is the latest stable version recommended for general use.
