Default Heads up on Current update[SOLVED]

From FAQ - following current
Quote:
After upgrading, the following files can be deleted:

rm -f /usr/bin/{afslog,hxtool,kauth,kadmin,ksu,pagsh}
rm -f /usr/lib/lib{heimntlm.*,heimntlm_p.*,hx509.*,hx509_p.*,kafs .*,kafs_p.*}
rm -f /usr/libdata/perl5/site_perl/*-openbsd/com_err.ph
rm -f /usr/libdata/perl5/site_perl/*-openbsd/kerberosV/{crmf_asn1,digest_asn1,heimntlm-protos,heimntlm,hx509-private,hdb-private}.ph
rm -f /usr/libdata/perl5/site_perl/*-openbsd/kerberosV/{hx509-protos,hx509,hx509_err,kx509_asn1,ntlm_err,ocsp_as n1,pkcs10_asn1}.ph
rm -f /usr/libdata/perl5/site_perl/*-openbsd/kerberosV/{pkcs12_asn1,pkcs8_asn1,pkcs9_asn1,pkinit_asn1,gss api/gssapi_spnego,spnego_asn1}.ph
rm -f /usr/libexec/{digest-service,kimpersonate,kdigest}
rm -f /usr/include/com_err.h
rm -f /usr/include/kerberosV/{crmf_asn1,digest_asn1,hdb-private,heimntlm-protos,heimntlm,hx509-private}.h
rm -f /usr/include/kerberosV/{hx509-protos,hx509,hx509_err,kx509_asn1,ntlm_err,ocsp_as n1,pkcs10_asn1,pkcs12_asn1}.h
rm -f /usr/include/kerberosV/{pkcs8_asn1,pkcs9_asn1,pkinit_asn1,spnego_asn1,gss api/gssapi_spnego}.h
rm -f /usr/sbin/kdigest
I deleted these libraries after the Base update and then ran into problems updating my installed packages. I thought I was safe on this since KerberosV is in base.

cups-libs will not update without hx509.

I'm reviewing pkg_add[(1) trying to figure a safe way to fix this.

Even though the FAQ entry is dated for June 18 I went ahead and re-updated the base install with
Code:
OpenBSD 5.3-current (RAMDISK_CD) #2: Tue Jun 18 13:44:00 MDT 2013
    deraadt@amd64.openbsd.org:/usr/src/sys/arch/amd64/compile/RAMDISK_CD
and the packages then updated fine.

The Time Stamp for the Current update has been changed:
My initial post in the forum was June 20.

The FAQ now lists the KerberosV entry as June 21.

After upgrading, the following files can be deleted:

rm -f /usr/bin/{afslog,hxtool,kauth,kadmin,ksu,pagsh,kswitch}
rm -f /usr/lib/lib{heimntlm.*,heimntlm_p.*,hx509.*,hx509_p.*,kafs .*,kafs_p.*}
rm -f /usr/libdata/perl5/site_perl/*-openbsd/com_err.ph

rm -f /usr/libdata/perl5/site_perl/*-openbsd/kerberosV/{pkcs12_asn1,pkcs8_asn1,pkcs9_asn1,pkinit_asn1,gss api/gssapi_spnego,spnego_asn1}.ph
rm -f /usr/libexec/{digest-service,kimpersonate,kdigest,kcm}
rm -f /usr/include/com_err.h
rm -f /usr/include/kerberosV/{crmf_asn1,hdb-private,heimntlm-protos,heimntlm,hx509-private}.h
rm -f /usr/include/kerberosV/{hx509-protos,hx509,hx509_err,kx509_asn1,ntlm_err,ocsp_as n1,pkcs10_asn1,pkcs12_asn1}.h
rm -f /usr/include/kerberosV/{pkcs8_asn1,pkcs9_asn1,pkinit_asn1,spnego_asn1,gss api/gssapi_spnego}.h
rm -f /usr/sbin/kdigest
I am posting this not to be critical of the core developers but more as a caution to those following current. The files to be deleted were not hurting anything and in the future it may be better to implement the deletions after more time has passed.
