Apache administrative sources?
Hi, I'm about to set up an Apache Web server for a very small company, & I'd like to pass information on how to administer Apache when I leave. Does anyone have favorite books or Web tutorials which they have found helpful?
Thanks! |

The official Apache documentation is pretty good IMO:
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/ But I think the best information you can pass on is your telephone number, in my experience letting non-technical people "mess" with stuff only leads to more problems (since they don't really know what they're doing). In the long run, just fixing stuff yourself is often faster and easier...

It might also be wise to make sure they understand which version of Apache is being used and the Apache 1.x / Apache 2.x thing.
