Default How to burn dvd1.iso.xz ???

Hello everyone!

Would anyone know how to burn this strange .xz format to a DVD. I did a search and found only one person that said use 7-zip but my 7-zip say it can't open the file... It seem that FreeBSD will soon be complexly reliant on Windows. But whatever the case might as well learn how-to other than taking the easy way out (tomorrow we may have no choice). Would anyone know how to do this... FreeBSD web-site give-it but said nothing about what to do with the file ... Gosh! It's like back to the day when FreeBSD was so hard to install. I waited 20 years for an easy install (7.0 - 8.1) and now it's like dead again.

FreeBSD-8.2-RELEASE-amd64-dvd1.iso.xz

Thank in advance

xz is a compression format.

It's in ports:
http://www.freshports.org/archivers/xz/

From FreeBSD 8 and onwards it seems to be in the base system.

xz homepage with versions for different OS's:
http://tukaani.org/xz/

As for 7-Zip, xz seems to be supported, at least in versions "7-Zip and LZMA SDK versions 9.00 alpha and later" (From xz page).
