Default How to porting Openbsd 2.7 to support 128GB hard disk?

I know that version 3.2 already support that. But my embedded board using MIPS processor and they do not want upgrade OS to version 3.2. Does anyone know how to porting Openbsd 2.7 to support 128GB hard disk? Thanks.

OpenBSD 2.7 was released in June 2000. OpenBSD versions are supported for one year. The possibility of anyone remembering anything about 2.7 is miniscule to non-existent, & there is certainly no longer any official support. There has been no support for version 2.7 for nearly eleven years.

If neither you nor any other engineer at your company has the skills to do this work yourselves, your only real alternative is to contact a consultant who will do the work for hire. The OpenBSD project maintains a page on their Website for consultants:

http://www.openbsd.org/support.html

Your best bet is to try to convince management that they need to upgrade to a recent version. Sticking with such an old unsupported version as you are doing now means that you are now responsible for all support. Otherwise, do the cost analysis to determine if the work is important enough to warrant the costs of a consultant.

At this time, only OpenBSD 4.9 and 5.0 are supported. On 1 May, 5.1 will be supported and 4.9 will no longer be supported. 2.9 support ended in May, 2002, when 3.1 was released.
