Default X -configure

Section 11.2 of the FAQ mentions that auto-detection is most frequently sufficient for most users; X -configure really isn't required.

Interestingly, Matthieu Herrb stressed this more strongly today on misc@:

Also forget about X -configure. It's known to be more or less broken and nowadays you don't need an xorg.conf file to run X in most cases.
