Default X as a security risk .. how wnd when ?

Hi BSD Hackers !

I recall I've read somewhere that enabling X while not using it is a security risk ..

I'd be thankful if you could clarify this to me ..
and if I choose to run X andafterwards don't startx nor xinit .. while the allow_aperture is still being 2 .. is this a security risk ? will it continue to be if I changed the value ?
Thank you
