Default Windows keyboard shortcuts

Hi,
I don't know whether this is right place to ask this questions or not if not then pls ignore.

I have a IBM Thinkpad which is running vista. As you all might know Thinkpads comes with tons of thinkvantage software's, which can be launched by pressing Fn + [F1 - F12] (Fn key followed by function keys). Now I want to replace these S/W with my hand written S/W.

So is there any way in which I can launch an .exe upon pressing Fn + any of the function keys.

Well if your writing you own software you want to look at shell extension for listening for keyboard shortcuts or you could download something like this:
