In BSDs (especially in FreeBSD with which I'm more experienced) I miss:

- XFS filesystem R/W stable support (or at least R/O stable support). Stable means to be able to mount in BSD - without crashing your system - XFS filesystems created elsewhere too (eg from an external drive formatted with XFS on a Linux box);

- LUKS(Linux Unified Key Setup) ported to BSD;

- better support for popular wireless cards (like the implementation of Host AP mode, ad-hoc mode);

- related to previous point, better *BSD support for modern/popular hardware in general;

Hardware support. It's not bad, but it could be better.
