Does it auto-backup before upgrading ?
Hi everybody !
Yesterday , as I was upgrading a flash , I was warned midway that xserv52.tgz was not installed properly ... so I ^C and rebooted to old untouched system. Does OpenBSD backup the system and keeps that until successfully finalizing the upgrade? where does it take place ? on swap ? where else when there is no swap space ? Thank you very much ! Thanks .. It seems xserv52.tgz was badly copied to the flash I wanted to use as a 'sets disk' because the would-be-upgraded flash is too small for that .. and yet the system was upgraded and worked well (except that it hanged at RFC .... during boot , so I did a ^C .. :-) ..
