Hi Beastie !
I hope they will improve openness as well so that OBSD & Friends won't feel reluctant about using it.

I hope so as well, but it's very unlikely... Then again, Opera has made some surprise decisions in the past ...

This new version crashed too often for my liking with many tabs open, so I reinstalled it de-selecting GTK2 ... seems more stable.
OTOH I then re-installed 11.64... still crashed too often.
BTW I upgraded

to install the "Gray Cat" theme... very recommendable.

Opera has announced a shift from presto >> webkit. This does not bode well here (I've three webkit browsers, tested each from yesterday, and all three segfault/cannot load pages). I've posted at osnews.com, the freebsd forums, and at the opera forums about the qualms I have about that decision...

Okay, jb_daefo... so, like on the FreeBSD forums... have you tried Vimprobable yet?

If Vimprobable (which is quite primitive) doesn't work either, then the problem is most probably on your side. Reinstall the latest versions of the main dependencies -- Python, Perl, GTK+, WebKit, etc.
