This release is primarily a security update, but we have also collected tons of crash fixes and other high visibility bugs. We were even able to sneak in a performance improvement.

Mine continues to want to send in a crash report every time I exit, but I don't let it. It's ok I don't use it much anymore.

They collect a lot, they correct a lot, they leave a lot. Same with most software of that size...

I used to get these quite a long time ago when they implemented toolkit-specific themes. The reason was that the toolkits I had installed were not up to date. I updated them and no more crashes. But since then I switched to the X11 theme which is cleaner, simpler and lighter.
I experience very few crashes in a version's lifecycle and they're reproducible so I can easily avoid them.

How is the print dialog with this theme...for some reason with GTK or QT/KDE I don't get an option to be able to create a custom printer to print to lpr. I'm using FreeBSD 9 AMD64, did have that issues with FreeBSD 8 i386, though.

It looks like this. It's probably not showing what you're looking for since I don't have any LPR configuration and have never connected a printer to the machine.
If you tick "Print to file" you can print to PS.

Feel free to try it yourself on your configuration. Just set this to "4" and save it. Alternatively add/modify
Code:
[File Selector]
Dialog Toolkit=4
in your operaprefs.ini file.

That is what I am doing, printing to a ps file then printing that file via lp. There used to be an option under advanced that would allow you to set up lp as a custom printer...just saves you a step.

But I will try the X11 toolkit.

Thanks, I may look into this at some point. (Initially I thought it might be older libraries on my main system, but it also happened on Slackware64 current, so probably it wasn't.)

Opera is only available in binary form, so there is no native OpenBSD port. However, OpenBSD can run the Linux binary under emulation. This is mentioned in Section 8.14 of the OpenBSD FAQ.
