Default obsd 4.6 on mbp turn of screen

Hi all.

Today I'm trying to figure out how to get the display on my macbook pro to turn off. As the subject indicates, I am running 4.6 on it, and I've made the wsconsctl changes which I believed would make this happen..

Code:
wsconsctl display.vblank=on
wsconsctl display.display_off=600000
wsconsctl display.kbdact=on
However, the display continues to burn away.
