All of a sudden my computer's fans sped up and got really loud. I lost my display(no signal), i couldn't power off the machine, even if holding in the power switch. No response from keys or mouse. I finally unplugged from the back and it turned off. After a reboot and fscheck everything appears to be working ok...

Are there any logs i can check to see what happened?

This looks like a hardware failure, which means it's a no.
