OpenBSD minimial boot + X + Tor ?
Hi gurus,
I am looking for an advise to accomplish the following: * Have an OpenBSD minimal boot with a X windows system, a network manager ( wired and wifi) and Tor along with ICE weasel browser . Its a concept similar to Tails ISO. Can anyone give me tips how to accomplish this please? Thank you in advance everyone who takes time to help ! P.S: This is only for personal use. Not sure what you qualify as "minimal" but you should go ahead and install all the OpenBSD sets during your installation.
This comes by default. You even get two window managers to choose from (FVWM and cwm). If you don't like either, there are plenty of others to obtain via packages. I'm partial to Fluxbox. I'm assuming by "network manager" you really mean "GUI network manager." That's conflicting with your goals. Really. Learning the proper commands for this and doing it from the shell is better. Easily installable via packages. They've renamed themselves IceCat, fyi. And no, OpenBSD does not have a port of IceCat. There is Firefox though. If you feel you absolutely cannot live without IceCat, you can use the Firefox port as a base for your IceCat port. Quote:
