Cannot activate partition in XP.
I just installed a dual-boot system of openbsd and XP. But I cannot mark the partition "active" in Disk Management when i right click at the partition.

Which order did you install the operating systems?
I saw a post, earlier this morning, that backs up my rule, "whenever you are dual-booting with Windows, install Windows first". |

I have XP first then Openbsd. Now the problem is i mark XP as active when i finish install the openbsd and reboot to XP. But i cannot mark the openbsd partition as "active" at the Disk Management ir order to login to openbsd machine.. I tried to login as Administrator in XP but still the same.

Weird - Windows probably won't let you mark the partition active as (for some insatiably stupid reason) it will only let you change markings on partitions it can recognize.
I have not explored the possibility of Grub and OpenBSD, but I highly suggest you look into it. I currently have a Debian-testing and OpenBSD 4.5 dual-boot, in which Grub is my main bootloader, which then chainloads to OpenBSD. |

Ohh. What should i do... I'm trying to find a solution in google..

Okay - hopefully you have not put too much time into your OpenBSD install.
When I installed OpenBSD, with the fdisk portion, I left my OpenBSD partition marked active; this is under the pretense that you do not have a silly BIOS, and that the BIOS looks at the MBR of the disk and not the PBR of the first partition. Check out this section of the OpenBSD FAQ. |
