Hello post - first post here :)
Hi everyone!
I've been visiting this forum for sometime now, and today I've registered and logged in I'm also a regular member of other BSD related forums - at FreeBSD.org & BSDguru.org. I'm not a BSD beginner, I'm not a pro also. I'm using FreeBSD 8.0 as my main OS on my netbook (eeepc 900). Currently, tempted by HAMMER I've installed DragonFlyBSD 2.6.3 on external usb-hdd. So far, DFBSD works very good on eeepc. If anyone is interested in trying DFBSD on a netbook (eeepc), I've posted a very basic how-to on fossunet (foss user network), and also most important .conf files. Once again, HI everyone & have a good day. |

Hi, next time at least provide a link to Your [1] HOWTO, to someone really interested in it would not have to search for it on the net

Thanks for the link, and for deleting extra post (ups).
I couldn't add a link since I'm a new member here - the forum manual says that I could be able to after 5 posts or so. Anyhow, thanks again & thanks for your how-to avoid hald&dbus published in BSD Magazine |
