Default Bluetooth

Does OpenBSD support/provide any bluetooth drivers now a days? If it was removed, was it do to security concerns?

Here is the text of the commit message when bluetooth driver modules were finally removed in July, 2014:

bluetooth support doesn't work and isn't going anywhere. the current design is a dead end, and should not be the basis for any future support. general consensus says to whack it so as to not mislead the unwary.

Got it,

So from that, I take it that Theo thought OpenBSD would be better served if the developers focused energy elsewhere. I would have to agree with that assessment as well.

This commit (actually, a series of commits) was from the famous tedu@, known for pruning the source tree of dead limbs.

Where I found the answer to your question:

This occurred during the g2k14 hackathon in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
