Radioparadise artwork
Hello All,
I'm using mpg123 to stream radioparadise and streamripper to capture. I notice that the shoutcast server sends what appears to be a dynamic path to album artwork. I would like to know if it is possible to view this from feh? You thinks i can somehow pipe this information and have it dynamically update as the song changes. I have googled to no avail. thanks and its been a while. all is good for me and 6.1 is great divadgnol |

solved - somewhat
I was able to pipe the cover art from feh to mplayer. just need to figure out how to have it update as the song changes.

I think it kinda defeats the purpose of using a light, command line mp3 player and then running mplayer in parallel in order to see cover art. I believe mplayer can be used by itself.
You may also want to look at audio/mpd and a graphical mpd client. audio/ario and audio/sonata both can provide cover art and lyrics. There is a howto in the guide section on how to setup mpd in openbsd. |

shep,
i'm know to be redundant. i'm configuring mpd as we speak. thanks |

and thanks for the tutorial on mpd.

Ario is dead (I should know--I'm the one who ported it). Definitely use sonata if you're going the mpd route.
