Default help setting gnokii .. setuid and gid bits

Hi !
I've installed gnokii and don't know how to proceed with setuid/gid bits setting
Help is much appreciated.
Thank you.

Code:
--- +gnokii-0.6.14p16 -------------------
There are currently NO setuid/gid bits enabled, but if you
want to use gnokii as a normal user you need to set the
setuid/gid bits manually.

READ the section that discusses Set-user-ID and Set-group-ID.
Please.

Be sure to check your mount options for the partition you're executing from... typically the partition containing /usr/local/bin. There is an option to prevent setuid or setgid from taking place.

$ man mount
