Default configure dwm in pkgsrc?

I haven't yet read the pkgsrc development documentation, but I hope this might be excusable. The dwm window manager is configured by editing a header file and recompiling. Is there a standard way to do this type of configuration with a package in pkgsrc, i.e. configure the dwm package? If so, how?

The pkgsrc directory probably will already have some patches in a directory called 'patches'.
You just add your own patch for the header file before compiling.

BTW I only have used pkgsrc once and that was quite some time ago, so I cannot give a detailed step by step approach

It would seem that dwm is traditionally customized and built by the person using it, i.e: in ones home directory.

From http://man.suckless.org/dwm/1/dwm
Code:
CUSTOMIZATION
dwm is customized by creating a custom config.h and
(re)compiling the source code. This keeps it fast, secure
          and simple.
Nice to have peer review isn't it?

Dang...just when I get settled in and happy with cwm, something like this comes across my radar. That's awesome. I'll have to check it out haha.

I prefer cwm, I've never been overly fond of tiling window managers.. stacking just works better.

I don't own any larger screens though, perhaps it's more useful there.

cwm and tmux are an absolutely wonderful combination, I must say.

You can delete the executable file dwm and .build_done in subdirectory after successful build. Afterwards modify the config and rebuild the package.
