Default dwindling memory

got a Fbsd 6.3 server that I monitor with Cacti - starting last wednesday, free memory started a downward slide. I've restarted the basic services that the server runs - squid / apache.

top output

Code:
last pid: 13246; load averages: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00 up 128+18:17:09 09:28:02
92 processes: 1 running, 91 sleeping
CPU states: 0.0% user, 0.0% nice, 1.1% system, 0.0% interrupt, 98.9% idle
Mem: 52M Active, 663M Inact, 155M Wired, 111M Buf, 126M Free
Swap: 2012M Total, 2012M Free
any tips on finding where the memory is going?

I can't think of anything that changed as of last wednesday that would have starting this ball rolling...
