Default Installation cd boot problem

Greetings.
I have a small yet serious problem to start my freebsd life.
I never had to burn the ISO files to a cd coz I had a dialup net so I have never been downloading these files from the net. Now when I have adsl, I have downloaded v7.0 disc1,2 and 3 but I'm having problems to make it bootable.
I have tried following:
1. Extracted the files from ISO with winrar and burn down the files in Nero.
2. Burned down the ISO file in Nero...
In both cases it just skips to boot the cd to start the installation.
I know this is a newbie problem but it's really new to me.
So if anyone can help... Yes it's set in BIOS to boot from Cd...
What do I do wrong?
Thanx in advance.
Sorry for my bad english.

I have msi k8n neo motherboard, athlon 2800+, 1gb...
Please help.

Default

Don't extract the files.

the proper procedure is:

download ISO image

check checksums on ISO image -> I use WinMD5Sum when burning from Windows.

burn ISO image to CD-ROM -> using Nero select 'disk image or saved project' and check the box for verifying data on disk after the write if your version supports such an option.

I use both Nero Express 6 (Windows) and cdrecord (*BSD) for burning disks and of the two coasters I've ever burned, only one was not from human error.

Good media, decent CD burning device, and finding the optimal speed to use with both is ideal -- I usually use the lowest which works for my desktop.

what exactly is the problem with booting off ther cd's?
