I find fixed width 80% suits my taste - good to have a choice.

BTW, I agree with Vermaden's suggestion of gray background all around or white background all around.

To each their own, of course.

Personally, I like the new theme, and the different colour for the page background. It separates the content from the "white space" around it.

Thankfully, there's a choice of themes, so each person can use what suits them best.
