Default jQuip: "90% of jQuery, 13% of the size"

From http://h-online.com/-1382236

Quote:
A new open source JavaScript library claims to offer 90 per cent of the popular jQuery library's functionality at only 13 per cent of the size. jQuip – JQuery-in-parts – is small enough that it can be included as source to avoid external references in web pages, according to the developers.

I really hate that dollar sign! The first time I had to pick up maintenance of someone else's code with that dollar sign, I almost killed a kitten! I'm going to have to look at this midori JS, thanks!

Be aware there are some issues with midori though, the midoriFX functions can bite you, and the CSS selector is pretty slow.

I started a fork to fix some of these issues & add a few other stuff I commonly use, but am lacking in time ...
